In many ways, art is the heART of who I am. I can’t help but feel the constant need to shape my surroundings, creating, refining, and nurturing. I often have around one hundred projects underway at any given time, spanning many years. A painting I just completed, for instance, was started over eight years ago. I’ve been working on my house since the day we bought it, and there are still countless unfinished projects and ones yet to be started. But whether I’m installing windows, planting a garden, or painting an image, it brings me the same sense of satisfaction. To help something grow is an act of art.

For the last 25 years, I’ve nurtured bonsai and orchids, learning that art takes time. Sometimes, it moves at a slow pace, but then one day, it bursts forth in full bloom, revealing beauty that overwhelms the senses. Art thrives best when not forced, but allowed to unfold naturally and organically.

I hope you enjoy my site; it, too, has been a labor of love, shaped over many years. And just like my work, there is always more to come.
